The Long Dark Reishi Tea

 Posted admin

Blended with hot water, Four Sigma Food’s Instant Reishi—a powder blended with star anise, mint leaf, licorice root, and stevia—smells vaguely like a diluted cup of miso soup and is surprisingly sweet (from the stevia) but isn’t all that different from a weak black tea. Jun 25, 2017  I need to take antibiotics. I don't have medicine, but I have tea. Drank reishi tea from the backpack.nothing happened. Drank reishi tea from the radial menu - first aid.nothing happened. Is this a bug or am I going to the wrong place? EDIT: My question has been answered, and thanks to everyone involved!

The Long Dark Reishi Tea Recipe

Playing on The Hunted challenge. I ate a candy bar that was at 30% or so and got food poisoning from it.

Luckily (so I thought) I had made some reishi tea. I drank it, but it had no effect.

Does medicine have a chance of not working? I didn't use the medicine interface, I just drank it in my inventory, but I figure the effect is the same no matter how you drink it right?

That goddamn candy bar took me down to 5% condition. I thought for sure I was going to die from it!

It might not seem like a big deal to complain about tea not working, but it's a bug that nearly killed me. Of all the things to get food poisoning from too right?

I managed to recover some condition in the farmhouse, but the bear had caught up to me by then. Unloading a flare into his face did no good, I had to fire a second one to get him off my back.

I made it safely up to the radio tower where I proceeded to prepare 15 cups of coffee at the fire barrel. :D Does fire keep the hunted bear away? I never saw him when I was brewing.

Making my way through the dam environs I managed to avoid two wolf attacks thanks to decoys.

Fluffy was waiting for me to try and lighten the load before she sprang at me from the darkness. I had to fight Fluffy three different times before she succumbed to my knife. Thankfully I now had three more decoys ready to drop.

I spent the night in the dam to recover some condition. The next morning that damn bear was waiting for me! Luckily a single flare was enough to get him off my back this time. I took the river to the camp office, as the bear seemed to be patrolling the train tracks area.

After recovering a little more condition in the camp office and by now having consumed eight cups of coffee or so, I made a beeline for the trapper's homestead with three hours of light left.

No bear in site, but I had to drop all three decoys to get wolves off my trail. I guess they like the taste of Fluffy then?

Great challenge, I only wish I hadn't wasted time recovering from the candy bar! Also it would be a nice touch if you could start off part 2 with the same supplies you brought with you. I didn't bring 4000 calories of food with me for nothing!

The Long Dark finally got its story mode, referred to as Wintermute. Players were diving in across all major platforms on Tuesday, with new and old alike confused on how to make Rosehip Tea. You see, Rosehip Tea used to be easier to craft, but Hinterland has changed things up slightly and thrown players off. Ism pro diskless website.

How to Make Rosehip Tea

The first step to making Rosehip Tea is finding a Rose Hip bush and choosing the option to Harvest Rose Hips. You will need 24 to make one cup of Rosehip Tea. Luckily, Rose Hip bushes are often found in groups of three or more, with each bush containing eight.

Once you’ve picked 24 Rose Hips, open your backpack and navigate to the Recipes tab. There you will see the Prepared Rosehips option. If you have 24 Rose Hips, you should also have a checkmark over the box letting you know you can craft it. Click the Prepared Rosehips box to select it, and then click the Begin Crafting button at the bottom.

Rosehip Tea must be cooked. Find a fire or start one, and then interact with it to bring up the menu. Navigate to the Food tab, and then scroll down until you see Prepared Rosehips. With Prepared Rosehips selected, click on Cook and your Rosehip Tea will be ready in a jiffy.

Rosehip Tea acts as a painkiller that will instantly heal your sprains. That’s going to become an issue for players that like to walk around on hills while carrying too much loot.

There’s a lot more to craft in The Long Dark than just Rosehip Tea, so study up on how to craft a Survival Bow, and then get busy making a Simple Arrow. Those are two essential tools to Survival Mode.
