Carry weight is a crucial metric in Skyrim that dictates how much weight your character can carry. A larger carry weight means your character can carry more items. Thankfully, there are ways to increase your carry weight with cheats (console commands). This guide assumes you know how to open and use the console (press the ` or key to open.

Infinite XP in Skyrim
[edit]

You can attack the Jarl of Whiterun, and gain infinite xp without any consequences. This has only been tested for the one-handed, two handed, and sneakskills. All you have to do is go to Dragonsreach, and attack the Jarl. For sneak, crouch behind the Jarl, once he looks away from you, attack him. If you space out your attacks by a few seconds, depending on how mad he is, you won't get in trouble for this. He is immortal so, you can keep doing it indefinitely. If you attack him continuously, then you will get a bounty and attacked by the people in the room.

Helpful Suggestion: Using Healing Hands as well can speed up reset and level Restoration at the same time. I used Bound Sword while Sneaking and using Healing Hands to heal the Jarl after each hit. The result was Sneak, One-Handed, Restoration, and Conjuration, all leveled just as fast as when I did it without on my warrior-type. Buying these spell books was worth the gold for sure.

Armor Duplication[edit]

This is a little glitch in the game which allows you to duplicated your pieces of armor with the use of mannequins. To get your own mannequins, buy the house in Solitude (25,000 gold) and furnish it enough until your mannequins appear. Then you simply place what armor you want onto the mannequin. Before exiting the menu, take all of the armor that you just put on off. Walk out of the house then walk back in, and the armor should still be on the mannequin and you should also have a set in your inventory!

PC Cheats[edit]

A few weeks ago I found out about console commands. Mail icon in control panel. So I started playing around with them. I changed speed, size, things like that just to mess around. They usually didn't last through saves. Then I played around with my level, just to see what it would be like to be 'all powerful' using a forceav command. I changed carry weight, too. A few days ago I decided I wanted to go back to my original, non-cheated game, but the levels and carry weight are stuck. Now when I try to fix it, nothing happens. Does anyone know how to undo forceav commands?

You can use player.setlevel x to modify your character's level with the console. You can use player.removeperk perkID to remove perks, use help %perk name% to find the perk's ID.

In the future I recommend using modav to cheat, as these are easier to revert - just re-run the command with the value multiplied by -1.
